Principal Letter

Welcome to Keppen School!  My name is Lisa Clark and I am currently enjoying my sixth year here as principal.  My best kept secret is that I attended Keppen as a child many years ago.  I could not be more proud than to return to my roots where my love of learning first began.

I love Keppen and invite you to come in and meet me in person.  If you are a prospective parent, please call and make an appointment.  I would love to give you a personal tour.  If you are a current parent, feel free to stop in, call or email me with any concern or question.  I would love to hear your suggestions for improvement or even what you think is great here at our school.

We have many wonderful programs here at Keppen including PBS, RtI, ESL, Student Council, Safety Squad, and our PTA.  Our Positive Behavior Support (PBS) program teaches students expectations of proper behavior and rewards students for making good choices.  Consequences are handed down as well, if necessary.   Students in grades K-3 are included in the "Power Hour" when they receive additional instruction in reading and math according to the student's needs.

English as a Second Language (ESL) is offered to students who are in need during regular school hours. Student Council is available to students in grades 3-5. Student Council and Tutoring for 4th and 5th grade are offered after school. We also have a wonderful parent group (PTA) here at Keppen who are always looking for new members.  They work hard to provide extra activities for our students and families.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site.  Again, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at [email protected].

Thank you,

Lisa Clark
